Andy had been a Special Constable in Warminster for several years before joining the Constabulary in October 2006; he was based at Filton Police Station in Bristol. |

|
Died as a result of head injuries sustained in an accidental fall in the police barracks, while attending a two-week multi-national public order training exercise, at the National Gendarmerie training centre near Bordeaux in France. |
||
|
Derek had 28 years service in Strathclyde and was attached to the Courts Branch in Glasgow, where he had also been a part time Public Order Instructor. He is survived by his wife and two daughters aged 16 and 13 years; his parents and his brother and sister. |

Jonathan
Charles Henry |
|
|
Police officers attended a report of a member of the public being stabbed in the street in the early morning in Luton town centre, where they confronted a man armed with a knife and attempted to arrest him when, despite wearing body armour, PC Henry was stabbed twice in the chest and fatally wounded. |

|
His assailant was arrested at the scene by armed officers and has been charged with his murder and the attempted murder of two members of the public. |
||
|
Jon fulfilled his lifelong
ambition of becoming a police officer when he was appointed to the Force on
17 May 2004,
where he was serving on uniform patrol at Luton. |
||
|
His name has been added to the Roll of Honour at the National Police Memorial in London. |
||

Collapsed and died of heart failure while on duty in the CID office at Downpatrick Police Station, Co. Down. |
||
|
Victer joined the Royal Ulster Constabulary Reserve in 1980 and was appointed a full time constable in 1985; he had been awarded three commendations for good police work. |

After unarmed officers, attending an early morning disturbance at a house in Shrewsbury, were held at gunpoint, PC Gray arrived at the scene with an armed response unit; as he and a colleague went to the back of the house PC Gray was confronted by the gunman and he was shot in the head with a rifle and killed. |

Ricky was from Dundee and served as
a soldier in the Black Watch between 1981 and 1997 when his police career began with the Cheshire Constabulary. In 2003 he transferred to West Mercia working as an authorised firearms officer attached to
the Armed Response Team at Shrewsbury. Whilst with West
Mercia he was commended five times, including two Divisional Commendations
for assisting with rescues, and a Judge's Commendation and two Chief
Constable's Commendations for bravery in arresting violent suspects armed
with firearms. |
