WPC Sullivan was killed together with four colleagues, PC Bulleyment, WPS Burton, PC Renshaw, and PC Ross, in a road traffic accident when the coach, taking them to the Police Federation Conference at Blackpool, suffered brake failure, crashed into a roundabout and overturned near Wakefield.
