Now there will always be a huge void in my life - previously filled by the wonderful, loving, caring, amusing person that was Richard. God bless you son, may you rest in peace. All my love, Dad.

IN MEMORY OF RICHARD GUNN

I LOOKED ON A STARRY NIGHT
AND SAW A TWINKLING STAR.
IT MADE ME THINK OF YOU RICHARD
I WONDER WHERE YOU ARE.

DO YOU RECALL THAT SUNNY DAY
THE CHALK MAN ON THE HILL.
THE FAMILY PICNIC,FUN AND LAUGHTER,
I REMEMBER IT STILL.

AND THAT FAMILY TRIP WE TOOK TO FRANCE
THE WEATHER FOR TRAVELLING WAS BAD,
BUT THAT WEEKEND I GOT TO KNOW YOU
AND OF THAT I WAS REALLY GLAD.

IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE YOU ARE GONE
THAT YOU ARE NO LONGER HERE,
IT'S MADE THE FAMILY VERY SAD
IT FILLS US ALL WITH TEARS.

MUM HAS A PHOTO ON THE WALL
OF YOU AND COUSINS TOO,
ALTHOUGH YOU ARE NO LONGER HERE
YOU'LL ALWAYS BE IN VIEW.

REST IN PEACE RICHARD
WE'LL MEET AGAIN SOME DAY,
YOU'LL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN
IN OUR HEARTS YOU'LL ALWAYS STAY.
