Died 7 December 1976, aged 37

Killed together with PC Rowlands, and PS Scott who died later, when the police driving school car in which he was a passenger was in collision with a heavy goods lorry on the A52 Leek to Ashbourne Road, near Swinscoe.

   Terence was appointed to the force in 1964 and was attached to the HQ Traffic Department based at Derby.

He was survived by his wife and their son and daughter.
